With three level brightness control, Lumio offers fast and clear viewing in both broadband white light and tuned blue light for fluorescein dye assessments, utilizing AVS’ high-performance, clip-in yellow filter.
Built with durability in mind, the Lumio features a rugged design, three-stage brightness control, replaceable battery and 7x magnification to enhance diagnostic accuracy and ease of use.

Under White Light
General inspection of corneal clarity, conjunctival redness, iris abnormalities, anterior chamber changes.
Identification of foreign bodies, pigmentary changes, neovascularization.
Assessment of eyelid and lash abnormalities.
Under Blue Light with Fluorescein Filter
Corneal ulcers and abrasions: Fluorescein dye pools in areas of epithelial loss.
Tear film breakup time (TFBUT): Used in diagnosing dry eye (KCS).
Detection of corneal sequestra (in cats): Fluorescein outlines the lesion’s edge.
Post-operative monitoring: Checking healing post corneal surgery.
